- Users manually enter their email and phone number. - Contact access is requested with explicit permission. - Notification tokens are generated automatically. - A “I’m over 18” button is used to activate the subscription.
3. Use of Data
- Authentication - Push notifications (messages, updates) - Starting conversations with contacts - Generating and managing anonymous web links - Access to +18 subscription features (de-anonymization, pseudonyms)
4. Storage & Security
- Data is stored securely in MongoDB - Messages are stored to ensure conversation continuity - Communications are secured via HTTPS - Contacts are not stored on our servers
5. Sharing with Third Parties
- No sharing for commercial purposes - Firebase && APNS are only used for push notification delivery
6. Web Version
- Allows sending anonymous messages via a shared link - No registration required - Does not allow de-anonymization
7. Notifications
- Push notifications managed via Firebase Messaging && APNS - Can be disabled from the app
8. Data Deletion
- A delete account button is available in the app - A delay is applied before permanent deletion
9. Minors
- The +18 subscription is only available to adult users (self-declared) - No subscription or de-anonymization is available for minors
10. Updates
- Any updates to this policy will be announced via a Banshe Super account in the mobile app
11. Contact
- A contact page is available on our website - Clicking “Contact Us” opens your default email app

These terms govern the use of our mobile application. Access and use of Banshe implies acceptance of these rules.
1. Overview
Banshe is an anonymous messaging app that allows users to communicate with their contacts without immediately revealing their identity. A web version allows visitors to send anonymous messages via a generated link.
2. Access to the App
- Requires a valid email address (mandatory) - A phone number (mandatory) - Access to contacts is required to start conversations - A “I’m over 18” button is required to activate the subscription
3. Web Link Functionality
- Each user can generate a unique link from the app - Visitors can send anonymous messages via this link - These messages are received in a dedicated section within the app - Web messages can never be de-anonymized
4. +18 Subscription
- Reserved for adult users only - Payment via Google Pay / Apple Pay - Allows de-anonymization of app-originated conversations - Allows the creation of additional pseudonyms (not de-anonymizable) - It is impossible to de-anonymize a pseudonym, even between subscribers
5. Prohibited Behavior
- Harassment, threats, hate speech - Identity impersonation - Sending images or videos (not allowed) - Any content violating Delaware laws
6. Message Ownership
- Messages are stored and encrypted in our MongoDB database - They can be viewed like in any messaging app - No message-level deletion is available for now
7. Moderation
- Any user can report a message or conversation - In case of violation, Banshe’s team reserves the right to ban accounts
8. Account Deletion
- Available in settings - A delay is applied before final data deletion
9. Updates
- Updates will be notified via a Banshe Super account in the mobile app
10. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA
